I paid $350 for the bundle package (tripod, lens, bag) on Black Friday 2010 or 2011
Wife wanted a good camera when we take vacation. I bought the D3100 because of the price.

I have a Nikon 5200 that I rarely even touch. I have a Nikon Coolpix something or another that I usually lug around on vacation because it's waterproof. Then of course, a Galaxy S5 that gets used the most because it's the one in my pocket. I also have some gopro 4's that fall into the same "rarely even touched category."
