no hate.. i just think its waaaayyyyy over rated have since i've been a hona owner. but thats just me. i feel to me IMO.. you can get more from a non-vtec motor but thats just me.

ok so whats the big hype about vtec??? maybe in all my years working on car i missed something... lets see my evo doesn't have vtec, neither does my wrx or does a SRT 4 and they are all fast....so my question is how is VTEC "WHERE ITS AT"? and how is mivec wanna be it was before vtec???

vtec is just been overglorified that why nobody cares anymore.... honda just made it famous they didn't start it though... and mitsubishi's mivec was out before the b17a in the DA GSR and the 3.0 in the NSX.

hate to say it but the NEW SI's are garbage..... only way you can't beat a SI is if you can't drive. as far as the GS-R VS lude.. thats driver..... and the 94 vtec lude are suppose to be the fastest of the ludes if i remember right.

hell i post up everywhere to.. just got back on the honda thing since i started driving the car again... mostly on the wrx or evo boards and a few motorcycle ones too

hate to bust ya bubble but honda was not first, they were 3 or 4th only thing honda did was make it famous

a while ago i ran a best of 15.1 and 14.9 but this was back in 2001/2002.... but that was a while ago i think i can still pull it off.. this was on a b18a with a few mods done.

in actually BMW had varabile valve timing a long time ago it was called vanos, and mitsubishi's mivec has been around since the early 90's too.
