hey guys i was lookin at gsr ecu's and i noticed some of them had different codes on them. all of them had P72 on them but some had G1, L5,AM, and G5. i was wondering what those meant??

so im planing on goin lsv then gonna get a turbo kit of the teg but i was talkin to one of my boys uncles and he said that if i wanna go boost i shouldnt go lsv because wen the vtec pops and the turbo does too something may go wrong or something like that...i talked to him bout this a while ago...

so i found a type r ecu on craigslist and i was wondering if that would be able to go on my 97 ls? i talked with the guy and he said that it should be about to becuz of the wiring harness. i jus wanna make sure before i get and if this is a smart decision to get the ecu?
