Skunk2 Alpha Header First Impressions:

Looks like a solid header, cant compare it to a Megapower header but Skunk2 claims its just a "little brother" to the flag ship header. It uses the same technology, but they found a way to make it a little more cost effective against the $800 version. Welds look solid, the header looks like its made of quality steel unlike other headers you can buy for that price range. That was the deciding factor for me in all honesty, the quality behind the name like Skunk2 vs other no name brands which make headers in the $400 price range with a 2.5" collector. This looks like the size of a regular LS/Type R header so fitment shouldnt be a problem. Comes with an o2 bung, extra 2.5" flange, donut gasket and a sticker as well as a header bracket to replace the OEM one. Ill post a more indepth review once its installed I do need to purchase a test pipe for it as mine is only a 2.25" inlet.
