This should be cool. I plan on doing neon orange or hyper yellow for mine one day. Can't wait to see how it turns out.

I'm gonna primer them first so it shows up better, I can't decide of I want to leave a little lip of grey primer around the edge or paint the whole wheel pink. Any thoughts?

I would paint the whole thing. Especially because they are wheels. Anytime you leave an edge or a "seam" like that with a rattle can you are asking for it to start chipping away. Also, they are steelies. Just keep it simple and 1 solid color.
