just get a dot one and buy another one if you like it.

50 dollar helmets at walmart are dot approved.

Everybody says to shell out like 300. Will these cheapo helmets work?

I heard the difference is that if you crash a dot helmet, you have to buy another, but the others you can just bang around. I was going to wait till the 626 meet on thursday to talk it over with the raceline guy.

You should be fine. The real difference between the two are SA helmets are rated on melting and contain nomex, dot ones are not. SA ones also are HANS ready

No, is that a shop? My uncle said to buy a motocycle helmet, what about those? All in all, ill probibly get a "bell" one... o man, I suck. Lol
