Car randomly shuts off while driving

This may seem obvious...but closely related to the alternator; have you had the battery checked? Its CCA, not just voltage

I'll be driving down the highway and my engine will just cut off and then my battery light will come on.
Yup, that'll happen. No engine running = no power being generated.

That won't be an issue if his car starts or cranks freely again after it dies. It's likely to be either the ignition switch, main relay, or dizzy.

I forgot to update again. I figured out what it was. It was my killswitch. It was faulty and shutting down my car.
