change cluster needle color

Hey i have two cluaters but one of them doeant have the back electrical green sheet looking think do you think i can just swap it from the other one?

I just changed my red needles to yellow and they arent lighting up yellow at night. Can anybody please explain why not?

do you have to take the needles off? wont acetone on a qtip work?

i never took mine off and was able to do it. nail polish remover with a thin q-tip worked to make it clear, then added the paint thin

Two things:

When I painted my needles in my DA9, I didn't use any kind of paint remover. I just painted the white needles.

I removed them so I could paint both sides, but you probably shouldn't have to. I see no reason why a q-tip wouldn't work for removing and why you couldn't paint them on. Just put a piece of paper or something under it so you don't paint the back.

With the speedometer I had to install it without the cover, drive down the road with my GPS and attach the needle while I was driving so it would be accurate according to the GPS.

If your tach is off, I have no idea why it would be.
