Help Guys! Smog coming!

I need some help, does anyone have a stock muffler they are not using. My smog is due and I have a hole in mine. It not pass smog if I take it there like this. Thanks guys!

well, i have a full brand new exhaust... but i live in CT so I wouldn't be helpful

why wouldnt you pass CA smog with a hole in your muffler? Your muffler has no bearing on smog. I work for CARB, and all they do is put a sniffer in your exhaust like they do when you are tuning to look for certain things while tyhe car is moving. If you have a bad cat then you have a problem,. Just a hole in the muffler should be fine. Go ask the techs before you smog. Tell them it has no effect on emissions.

Thanks everyone for your help. I am going to talk to smog tech first. It was just some mechanics I had talk to said it would not pass. Cheers!

if you drive to CT dude. I'd give you a medal. And with a hole in your exhaust? dam I'd give you my exhaust. Although your gas bill would be quiiiiite high

i pass smog with after market muffler it doesn't affect smog
