Hey guys, i need help choosing one of these engines. Please help

As stated in the title i need help choosing one of these engines. I have extra money to swap my LS for a more powerful engine but again im kinda stuck. Here are the four motors from ebay.

b18c1 w/5 spd

Im leaning more towards the k24. But im still stuck right now.

For me its 1.k24 then very close behind is the b18c5, then the other two. I just need some help getting my mind made up. Thanks everyone! And my car gets out the shop tomorrow so Hopefully Ill get my pics up of my new paint job, new bumpers, fenders, hood, headlights and amber corners. Also all new weatherstripping and glass.

Yeah but then theres the hassle of putting it all together whereas the c5 is pretty much a drop and go

I see what you're getting at. Like I said before, if you have the money then go for it. Well what ever you go for, make sure you have good compression results & decent leak down test results. If I had the money I would go for the k-series, it would be a fun project to assemble. Got time & storage, bro?

Well its k20tuned's swap so im pretty sure all the test are flawless, and i have all summer but no storage yet.

^ just make sure its in good condition. A garage, tools & a cherry picker is pretty much all you need for a swap.

Idk if ill be doing this myself, i need someone who could swap one in and do it right the first time. My dads friend works at an acura/honda dealership so im going to see if he knows whats up and if not ill just go with the b18c5.

see thats where im stuck, i want both but cant get both haha. My dad has a tsx and i like the way that motor runs plus he gets 33mpg. but then the type r is good as well. Im just not sure

he gets 33mpg you wont when you smash on it.

Plus think of it this way. if you need to smog your car, you cant smog it unless your emissions laws are not strict.

yup you can pay peolpe to smog it but without the ref sticker....your fucked you get a ref ticket for that car if you get your hood popped thats a 300+ fine plus its ILLEGAL to drive your car with that ref ticket until REF signs off on it....you will have to cut off your motor mount bracket and reweld a b series one...and still pay a fine...its not worth it IMO
