The larger issue is the site admins aren't correcting the original issue with new user account creation.

I'm pretty sure the admins haven't even checked the forums in months, maybe years.

There was only two to my knowledge anyway, Ominous and Jayjay, neither of which have been seen for a long while.

Though Jayjay did reset my password when I forgot it a couple months ago.
