So were going with the Dragon Run for the meet then? Seems like everyone likes the idea. I think just adding onto TI's meet their is a good idea. LOTS of Integra's and they have it all planned out. I have yet to see a successful CI meet in a city anywhere. If anything the state that you live in needs to have a meet hosted. Such as Florida for example...If someone lives in Miami and the meet is in Orlando or Tampa which is in the middle of the state, thats 5 hours away. If the meet is in Georgia or another state, from Miami it would be over 10 hours to get to Georgia. It takes 7-8 hours from me to get to the capital of Florida.
The biggest problem is the committment of people to attend, or should I say the "uncommittment" of people going to attend. I've planned a Orlando meet and around 10-15 people showed. They're meets usually bring in a mimimum of 30 tegs. For anyone in the south going to a meet in Washington, D.C. or North Carolina, it's not happening.
If anything, the meets need to be smaller to get more activity of people to attend the meet. For example, New Jersey, New York, Virginia, etc could have a muti-state meet. A state like Florida or California can't because it's just too far. In Florida we could have a meet in the southern part of the state, or maybe the northern, but even that doesn't go as planned because people don't want to meet.

g3teg is right, i drove from miami to panama city like two weeks ago to get stuff from aussie, and i stopped at orlando and it was a nightmare long. the trip in its intirety took 10 hours to get there and 10 hours back. im dedicated enough but thats quite a long drive my friends. secondly, i do think that the individual states should have small meetings at first, maybe once a month or once every two months so that we get to know each other. i dunno bout you guys, but im not going to tag along to a ti meet, notknowing anyone, and have the chance of someone stealing my car or w/e. if we can get attendance up in local meets first, then i would suggest a regional meet, and when we have a couple successful ones, then have a national meet. and repeat the process over the year until it comes time again for the annual ci national meet. we gotta spread ourselves and be known to have a good turnout before we get serious exposure

you know im always down for something like this. should be kick ass! somewhere like chicago or sumtin like that would make for a great place to meet up. Especially with the new setup :evil:

haha dragon run is a lil more then 3 hr away from your house id be down for a meet but dragon run is way to far for me to drive im all the way up in CT maybe if something a lil closer like jersey pops up that way the members from VA can drive their and the CT and MA memebers drive their its more of a split trip and the few members in the philly and jersey area could meet usJDM_Conversion said:i've never driven 3 hours away from home so this should be an adventure.
