I think I would tear down a used block regardless of what I was told before installing it. Especially one that had been sitting for as long as that one did.

which is what was told to him by the person I sold it to.

Call me scammer all you want. You never posted pics of any damage or asked for a refund.

^ this - I would wanna see actual/physical proof - like a video or pics

they said it was smoking at the track when he tracked it. No clue what was done when it was assembled, what happened during installation or even what fluids were added.

Like I said, im done with arguing. We all have our opinions. Until this is physical evidence that I personally scammed you, you're losing this issue.

You still admitted to sending him a different pic to shut him up, that kinda kills all potential trust, no?
you're right.

But can you show me a difference in machine work in either one of those pics other than the pistons?

Regardless of if he scammed you, which i don't believe he did. Argueing solves nothing if you didn't even ask for a refund lol. Also if you really did just slap the head on n go track without tearing down a used block then it is really your falt at this point.

I just love how every one of you nut huggers think I scammed him. I never made a deal with him.
Ok, you scammed Matt then. Is that better then?

I wish I had just done so too. Like I said, lesson learned not to trust what people say. Oh and you guys keep bringing up the sitting and rust, but do you seen any rust on the cylinder walls in the pics Local sent me of its arrival? The only rust was on the top of the sleeve. The damage to the cylinders was not visible until the pistons were removed.

People keep saying that its my fault for not checking. I have admitted it was stupid for me to do so. However, does me not checking make it right for me to get scammed? Lets be real here. Logically just because someone is dumb enough to get scammed doesn't make it perfectly acceptable to do so.

I have already answered why I can't do this. I didn't take the time to snap a pic of it the day I took it to the machine shop. I literally stripped it, saw the strange spiral grooves, tried to clean up 1 of the cylinders with a hone to test if it would, got mad that it didn't and rushed it to the machine shop like it was the Emergency Room. I was just pissed about more money being lost on my build that I didn't give a fuck about pics, ricky, or anything. I also had no intentions of calling him out or talking to him or anything, but when i saw he made a new thread and is becoming active again I had to say something.

you're right.

Right, since pics is a very good way to judge how well a cylinder is prepped  . Lighting, angles and all that fun shit come in to play. Also I never said shit about the crosshatching being bad at the top of the cylinders which is what the pic shows. I said the bottom half had spiraling grooves and a bore that was uneven. The uneven part was only noticeable by feel, but was actually pretty bad.

Like I said, I do not have pics of the damage, which is why I am not asking for any money back. All I am doing is shedding light on how shady he is and he is just doing more to prove my point, by making up shit to shut me up. I also love how he is trying to make it ok that he posted pics of a different block with logic of "it looks the same". Dude you went out of your way to make up a story about said block "I took out the itr pistons and put in ctr for more comp and did some painting", no you fucking liar you blew up that motor with the itr pistons and there is no way in hell you forgot about that. You knowing posted it to shut me up. Shall I search google for a motor that has similar damage to what I am describing and post it up? Using your logic it is ok to do so because it looks the same. You got caught in the act of doing shady shit and lying about the motor. So tell me why I or anybody else should believe a god damn word you say?

You got away with it because I didn't snap a pic of the damage. Congrats. That still doesn't make you any less of a shady fuck that shouldn't be trusted. Simple as that.

The internet is full of goodies Ricky.

pretty much they dropped and chipped the corner of the wing.

I contacted them to make a claim since i added a 1000.00 insurance. They never responded but i got a letter on my door the next day for a package pick up. I contacted a rep again and asked what that was about. he explained to me that he wanted to bring the spoiler in to estimate damages. Once estimate was made, DESTROY the spoiler and send me a 1000.00 check. I instantly thought, Who the fak would want to destroy this amazing mugen product. So my gears started turning and i thought, "hmmm, how about i take before and after damage pics of another spoiler i have laying around. These are ups employees, they dont even know what mugen is!" So i went to my garage and got my factory spoiler. took pics with one camera and emailed them to the original seller, then dropped the spoiler a few times and took pics. Submitted pics tonight and i have the mugen in a secret safe place.

im a smart shiesty mother effer.

if i might say so myself.
History of scamming.

so i did some research and I actually found pics of the block after I go it back from the machine shop. The only difference is I have the JDM ITR pistons in this pic. I later installed the CTR pistons to up the compression and did some odd and end painting. Please engine specialist on here, do these walls look like a bear destroyed them?

You didn't just post pics of the wrong block. You made up a story to go along with it. Shiesty mother effer indeed.

lol.

My ITR replica bottom never blew up. Timing belt broke due to no timing covers and the valve guides were bad due to a poor "port" job that i regretted paying for. The guides were replaced with brand new ferrea guides and even added new valves and valve seals.

Nice try though. BTW, all that info is also in my build thread from almost 5 fucking years ago.

im a scammer and you're a noob. end of convo.

lol, i forgot about the whole UPS issue I went through. Ended up paying 225.00 to a local body shop to rebuild the damaged corner. Mailed that to UPS with pics and a reciept confirming the repair and they reimbursed me for it.

Keep riding my sack man, Im about to bust.

The point is you have a history of scamming using false pics and making up stories. You can't be trusted.

People like you is why we have to tear down and inspect things we buy to the tiniest detail. Our world is so fucked up that we have become accustom to this and quickly blame the person who didn't inspect it right, but we fail to do anything to the mother fucker who sold that "noob" the fucked up item in the first place.

The purpose of this thread was not for justice to be served by getting a refund. It was to prove to everyone on here who you truly are. A shady fuck. It did just that. Now go ahead and go back in to hiding where shady mother fuckers belong.

actually I think ill stay around, Maybe make a few forsale threads.

If you would have handled this like an adult, I would have been more prone to want to actually help you out. Instead you went way out of your way to make this huge scene which only made you look more ratchet than you already do. Good luck with your build. I wish you the best.

Good day sir.

That's beside the point though, he was not sold the pictured engine.. And the machine work will never be 100% the same, they are different engines. And actually, im sure I could spot plenty differences if it was in front of me.
