just got my motor rebuilt and fixed up im leakin a little bit of coolant from my head gasket and im told this is normal for a while...wonderin how long untill it isn't leaking and or if i need to have the shop re torque the bolts on the head gasket after so many miles...

all new internals and bore out the fix imperfections in the cylinder walls....

just got a rebuild....before the rebuild my engine was knockin bad....now after the rebuild the sound is more like a sputter so im guessin some valves might be bent or somethin....dono but it all the sudden wouldn't keep an idle and would just die...now it sounds like a muscle car when it idles...

just got engine rebuild and belts and what not the whole thing....hit 1500 miles on the rebuild and opened it up and it was runnin great but now when im at a stop idling it screams like a belt is slippin so i dono if it could be the bearings in one of the pully's or what....any ideas

wonderin if any gsr geniuses know what rpm range gives for the most power when pushing it....i just got a bore out with a rebuild and i was wondering if i shift at 8100 if im just hurtin my speed cuz i've heard if you shift a little lower vtec is still kicking in the higher gears so your faster...

the guy i bought my car from sucked ass and got fiberglass body kit that doesn't fit the teg very well i was wondering what body kits i can get that will fit like its made for a gsr and look sexy...also can paint shops match old paint or am i gonna have to fork up extra cash to get it detailed...

i just had my 96 gsr motor rebuilt....all new internals bore out and what not....i had it bearings replaced and gaskets again because a bearing shredded....does anyone think this is just a manufacturing bearing problem....cuz im hoping thats the case cuz i think the shop that did my rebuild is...

yeah...the compression on one of my pistons was 70 so they said they bored out all the cylinders and got me all new internals....bigger pistons as well and then after like 900 miles i was still babying the throttle but brought it up a little higher and it fucked up...

yeah man its all still under warranty it just blows cuz i had my engine rebuilt for like 8 weeks and 2 weeks later it has to be taken apart again....might need a new engine if the piston failed cuz that means they bored it out too much they said....

found out my engine either threw a rod or my piston collapsed so its gonna be in the shop for a while

yeah man i know....thats why im pissed...im guessing that the shop didn't do a good job preping it....didn't tighten everything how it was supposed to or something and when i let it vtec somethin came loose

bad news......took it to vtec and my engine started knocking....started out as like a raspy sound and then when i parked it it was hitting kinda hard so i parked it and im gettin it towed to a shop...not sure what went wrong but im hoping its not gonna be in the shop for too long....any thoughts?

ya i'de love to go with some upgrades but it isn't my money and they bought like a straight up engine part kit with new pistons, rods, bearings,crankshaft, everything so i don't know what pistons are gonna be put in there
