if ur getting a new short shifter i suggest getting an energy bushing kit to it helps trust me short shifters are cheap and easily found on ebay thats were i got mine and im very happy with it.
check ur driverside door that will tell you how heavy ur car is
and if ur a good driver u will beat him i woop civics all the time the only ones that beat me are v-tec non stock.
its very easy
pull off the knob
lift the car
unbolt the old one very simple
atach the new one in the same maner the old one was attached don't over tighten
(it won't shift if u do)
lower the car and put on a new or old knob
i wouldn't have been able to handle someone smashin in my car like that i would have blown a lid and called a few friends anyways glad ur getin a new windshield and feel for ya
if anyone needs a clutch i found a very reliable guy based out of cali i got my stage three from him and everything i needed to put it on. let me know if ur interested and ill let u know who it is.
ps all brand new
