From what I've seen of cold air intakes, it appears they are behind the radiator and not too far from the exhaust. Do they really get colder air there?

I've got a broken dash vent. The one above the moon roof button. I've pulled on the top of it and it seems like it wants to come off. Can this be removed without pulling the whole dashboard off? Thanks. I'm about to get all the little stuff straightened out on this thing :)

So, what would cause the cruise control to not hold the speed more closely than 2 mph? It tends to gain the 2 mph while going up hill. The tires are stock 55 ratio and well inflated.
