    my car is an 96 obd2 gsr... so if i have a obd1 vtec head... i need and obd1 ecu, dizzy, would the engine wiring harness have to be obd1 or 2.... can i keep my IM and Exhaust manifold.

    Which motor mounts should I get???

    i have inserts in my DC2 and they were a pain in the A$% to put in but once i got a hold of a vice i was able to pop them in tight and bolt it right up.... dash shakes a little bit when i am at like 1500rpm but that is not big deal...

    i wouldnt worry about getting them turned.... the oem rotors are not that expensive... but make sure to do the pads too or the old pads are going to cut into your brand new rotor..

    the reliability of the ls/vtec all depends on what you put into it... if you do it cheap then you are going to get a cheap motor... do it right and it will last just as long as any other build.

    i have an extra owners manual laying around if you want one i can mail it to you... i have one for a 97 and for a 00'... alot of auto trans slip when they are low on fluid too.. so i would check that first.. then do a flush if the fluid is dark or brownish..

    i changed my starter and it solved the starting problem... the starter was not getting a good case ground..

    in most cases if it says low cat.. it is the second o2 sensor (after the cat) that has gone bad
