thanks for posting, just got back from the junk yard with a new connector and wired it up. Issue still remains. i still don't have the scree that fits under the throttle stop so once i find one with the same thread pitch at the hardware store ill try that screw and dial the RPM'S that way...

Drive the car till empty, refill, reset trip odometer. drive the car till empty again, record mileage of the tank, then fill and divide your miles to the tank by how many gallons you put in. Record findings, report those findings back on here, then we can help. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I would do a small tune up. Oil change, spark plugs, fuel filter. Distributor cap and rotor also. Just freshen up the ignition then see what it does. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
