really dont know squat about cars or possess any driving skill what so ever.

You don't have to know shit about cars to be a good driver. This goes the other way also, you could be able to pull a car to pieces and put it back together in a day and it doesn't make you a good driver. Never compare knowledge and skill, they're two completely different things.
