ive heard the alchohol does a good job, but what i use every 6 months is Mother 3 Step..its a lile xpensive but trust me..it removes old wax..then its a cleaner wax...then its a legit wax....comes out amazing
i know this is a dead thread but wanted to let everyone that if you go to you local automotive paint store not... napa not shucks... go to the paint store the people who specialize in it ask for a quart of wax and grease remover like sem solve or advantage190.. ppg's dx330.. and you'l be good to go wipe on with one towel and off with another also removes road tar and tree sap
