Question about 3rd gen. trailing arms.

I want to replace the complete trailing arm assembly on my 95 LS. Do the 94' and 95's have different trailing arms than the 96-01 models? I see different part numbers, but i thought they were all the same. Help!

How much will labor cost for an engine install?

B20 - $600 Shop install - at least $1000. You should do it yourself. A good learning experience. Might take you three days. It is possible to do in one long day, but you need to have done it before and make sure you have everything ready.

    Which engine would you choose?

I got a total crap B20 engine from TigerJapanese. It looked like the oil had never been changed and broke an oil ring as soon as it was started. They refused to refund me also. Stay away from them. I recommend only buying an engine from a local place that will let you inspect the engine yourself.

    speed sensor

Nearly impossible unless you buy the entire harness. Just take a very small piece of metal or wire and put it in the slot where the tab has broken off or corroded away. I was in your shoes 4 years ago. I just jammed a speck of wire in there. It fixed it and i have had no issues since.

Temperature Sender debate needing some ideas?

I just zipp tied mine to the hose exiting the thermostat housing. It works fine. Not "clean", but reads temperature with no issues.

    Overheating 96 teg

It's building pressure because the water pump is not circulating coolant. The pressure will escape in the easiest path. Radiator cap, blown hose, blowing hole in a weak radiator etc. You can sometimes remove the radiator cap, start the car and let it get to operating temperature and watch to see...

    stalls when stop.. WTF!!

Also, if it was a crate B20 chances are the timing is fine. IACV and FICV should be fine also. Look for things you changed when you swapped it. This points back to the intake gasket. I cannot stress enough the little amount of tightening needed. Start at the inside and work your way out similar...

    stalls when stop.. WTF!!

Intake manifold gasket. I bet you overtightened it when you swapped. They need very little torque. Just past finger tight. The bolts underneath are hard to get to. I had the same issue on an ITR. It's hard to spray around the whole gasket for leaks (especially underneath). We tried everything...

Enjoy your torque steer. Also, better upgrade those brakes and suspension with that power or you will kill yourself.

    Ignition Switch Problems.

If my memory serves me, the switch needs to be turned one notch (Aux) before installing. I put a new one in mine a while ago and remember i had an issue like yours. Try that and see if it works. Hopefully someone else here can assist you more.

Zerolift in Cincinnati is selling B20's for $450 right now.

Stupid cheap. If you need one, might want to grab one fast. I've purchased two from them in the past and got great engines both times. They will let you inspect before you buy. https://www.facebook.com/Zerolift?fref=nf
