My timing belt snapped while I was on the highway. The bottom end still seems to be fine because it still cranks and has compression and none of my rods are bent. What are my chances for my head not being fucked up?
Just trying to get a general idea of what kind of numbers I'm making. I can't dyno it yet because I'm still breaking it in. I know my engine specs will probably differ from someone who is running the same type of setup, but like I said I'm just curious.
I need hotter plugs for my swap and bigger wires. What type should I get that would benefit my motor? I know I don't wanna get too hot of a plug because I don't want to burn holes in the tops of my pistons. Too cold and they won't burn enough fuel and it will leak past my rings into the crank...
I need to know how far advanced my timing needs to be to get the most out of my high compression motor. I tried looking on google but all I can find is factory timing solutions.
Anytime I have to leave my car in a public parking lot for more than an hour, I get nervous and think it's gonna get f*cked wither worse. Stolen. Anybody else have this phobia?

With all of the work put into it and the parts that it built with, 900 bucks is a steal. I can't wait to drop it in and dyno it and see what kind of power its making. The guy I'm buying it from is an engine builder at one of the local...
So, we all know tax season is coming up, and I'll have a decent amount of money to spend. Other than rebuilding the motor, and boosting it, what should I do to the motor?
Couldn't afford the Mishimoto rad so I went with the Blackworks 3 core half size rad. It keeps it somewhat cooler than my old factory full-size rad did, but other than that nothing super noticeable. The slim 12" fan was a breeze to install and wire. As you can tell in the pic, no...
My Tegg has always done this since the day I got it so I'll try to describe/explain the best I can. Ok, so when I let of the gas slightly not all the way, the motor seems to do this low rumbling backfire. It doesn't matter what gear I'm in or how fast I'm going. I can control it when it happens...
So when I was on my way home from work I pulled up to a light, and without any sort of warning my car died. It sputtered for a split second and just died. It fired right back up but was running like sh*t until I took off. When I pulled up to the next light it was running and idling like nothing...
So I washed the Tegg last night and now my passenger window won't roll down. Neither switch will work. I'm leaning towards my window motor getting wet or some wires got wet so there is a bad connection somewhere. If anybody has had this happen before I would appreciate the input.
After six months of being unemployed, I finally found a job. I got a job at Vandergriff Acura as a technician. I had to put my car on the back burner for awhile but now that stuff is starting to turn around I can get back to working on her.
