So I am going to be changing my transmission fluid in my 97 ls which is a standard. I am hearing a lot about syncromesh and full synthetic mtf but what should I use? Also I have heard thar syncromesh should be mixed with mtf so if I use that how should I mix it?

So every time I turn right I hear a loud thud on the drivers side... What could this mean? I feel like it is a tie rod issue but I'm not sure. Can anyone offer some help with this?
