If you put a test pipe on you need an O2 simulator. Their under $20 on e-bay.

I dont think you need an o2 for an ls. If I remember the o2 plugs into the header, before the test pipe. I dont think there is one after. I never had any problems with my check engine light coming on at all. Just sounds like crap.

Very simple....... OBD1 (One O2 in the header). OBD2 (Two O2s, One in the header other in the cat)

Any idea when obd2 started in the teg? I've heard swapping to obd1 is better-We don't have emmisions testing here so thats not a problem.
