The integra is dead. RIP. :(

:( At least it's a simple fix! (And cheaper than finding a whole new teg.)

Which alarm system should I get?

You may find other DEI brands cheaper or on sale. Clifford, python, viper, (and I think there's a fourth) are essentially the same alarms. I love my python 2 way alarm. As for installing, just do it yourself. I did a stealth install within a week between work and school. If you are thinking of...

What should I do... (New Member)

I like fogs, so I'd put them back on. It looks like you already have an intake on there, so go for an exhaust, next. Looks great now, though!

    Short ram gas problem?

I noticed no difference when I had reset it a few different times for different jobs (I had an icebox intake, though). The main thing is to drive it how you'd want to drive it so that it learns those curves (i.e. don't drive it like a grandma for 500 mi then expect it to perform otherwise).

    Short ram gas problem?

I remember having to reset the ecu by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes. If I remember correctly, your ecu is fueling the car as if you had the stock intake on it, but you are throwing more air into it than normal (so it throws in more fuel). Simply disconnect the battery and it should...

    My teg was totaled... :-(

I can't do it; I can't not get another Honda... :( I just can't find another manual teg in my price range. I can't fix this one up, there is more wrong than I realized before and I definitely cannot repair the trunk. I'll be keeping her until I salvage the parts I'd need for my new teg, then...

    My teg was totaled... :-(

Yeah, I do love those wheels. They only have under 10k miles on them, too! Still, no one has helped me with my main question: Why avenue of parting out should I use first - here, CL, or eBay? Then, I guess, how long should I wait to post it up in the next community? I really wish I could find...

    My teg was totaled... :-(

Of course! How'd I forget? The "low" estimate from the collision place was $5k and the guy said it wasn't worth fixing. I knew the car would be a goner if it got hit in the rear again (previous owner got rear ended, I assume).

    My teg was totaled... :-(

I wasn't sure where to put this, but I am looking for some advice on what to do with my now salvage titled 95 RS. I was sandwiched on the highway (relatively lightly) and the front SUV destroyed the hood and bumper and the civic behind ruined the unibody in the back. The engine still runs...

    HID Lighting???

I believe you can't have HID in the high beams because they are not projectors like the low beams are, and there is a law somewhere prohibiting HIDs unless they are in projectors. It is physically possible to use them as highs, but HIDs need to warm up, so turning them off and on is not very...

Mysterious starting issue (dies after key release)

Had this issue. Car died on the highway and had to drive stick while holding the key in position. It wasn't fun, so have a spare available now. I picked up a new one on rock auto for $30ish. Replacing it is a plug and play deal. You can try removing it and sanding down the contacts. This...

    Scraching/Grinding Noise

Try changing the transmission fluid? See if there are shavings in the oil? Try throwing a strong magnet on the refill bolt and drive it a bit. Then check if the bolt collected any debris. That would save you from emptying your oil out. Could be something else, though. I'm not too...

    Alarm Advice

Any DEI alarm is great (Python, Viper, Clifford, etc.). I did my own stealth install for my Python 991 system and had little trouble (big hands don't fit in small spaces). Where are you located?

hard time picking the right oil

All the filters are made by only a handful of companies. Bosch is now a Purolator and K&N/Mobil1 is just a Champion Labs filter. I just used the article to weed out the crappy ones. If you head over to the Opinions section, they list the good and bad.

hard time picking the right oil

Do not switch off of royal purple as the new oil will react with it, creating an acidic solution that will eat at your head gasket and other seals. Stay with one brand of oil. I personally use Mobil1 Extended Performance with a Bosch filter. I used K&N before with no problems but after reading...

Electrical issue; no idea, just need a place to start looking

Well I just installed a 2 gauge wire in place of the valve cover ground. I managed to slightly strip one of the bolts (oops) but I'll switch it out when I replace the cam seal soon. I plan to get it tested at autozone soon. I am truly lost as to where else to look. Does anyone have any...

Electrical issue; no idea, just need a place to start looking

Long story short, my battery died and has been replaced and the alternator is only 2 years old, but my car has electrical issues like the radio restarting itself and the headlights strobing (not just flickering). Details follow... About 3 weeks ago my alternator pulley bolt/nut came loose and...

    Post Pics of Local Ricers

I actually like that two tone. No body kits or anything. The owner states it has a CAI, but I thought those ran to the bottom of the car; doesn't he have a short ram?

    Light Dimmer into Bass Knob

The light dimmer controls the light intensity of the dash cluster and climate controls, not the dome light. You could relocate the dimmer to the other side (where cruise control is/would go) and put in another knob for the subs. Or, just put in a knob on the cruise control side for the subs. You...
