    New project GSR 4dr

I have recently procured a 1995 GSR 4dr and have done a mild motor swap. Currently I have a B20B in it and it is just a simple daily driver. I will however be in the near future be doing a full build. I will be breaking down the entire car to bare metal and the new GSR B18C will be taken down to...

    URGENT! Help needed

What about the pull tube from the pan to the pump? Dented pan could have pinched that tube

I just had that same thing. My answer was replace plug wires. Was grounding off the head from bad spark plug wires

    Restore and upgrade

So I bought a 1995 Acura Integra GSR. The down side was, at some point someone pulled the GSR motor and ECU and replaced it with a B18B1 LS non Vtec motor and a SOHC ECU. I had bought a B20B motor for my 1999 Honda Civic but the guy I bought the motor from ripped me off and failed to give me...

    92 GSR rebuilt

Check your tires themselves. I found this out personally, if you have old tires, sometimes the steel belt can separate from the inside of the tire causing a large bulge in the tire from an air pocket between the belt and the tire. Other issue could be your axels may be too loose or your tires...

Rear Tires a bit too big for current coil over springs.

The reason I have avoided the trade responses is because I already tried. I just thought that someone would know what a 8.5" long spring would be listed as on ebay based on their description of the spring which is almost always the amount of drop the spring allows. I do not plan on getting crap...

Rear Tires a bit too big for current coil over springs.

I am not wanting to buy rims and tires. I am wanting springs that are just a little shorter than stock. I have been asking for this from the beginning. What size spring should I look for to do this. This is the cheapest route to resolve my problem. I don't understand how this is so hard to...

Rear Tires a bit too big for current coil over springs.

If you don't have any good ideas then why bother posting. I bought the car with the rims and had to buy tires to even get it home and as such I cannot afford to spend the money needed for smaller rims and smaller tires. So the only option is a temporary fix till I can afford the new rims and tires

Rear Tires a bit too big for current coil over springs.

Okay let's refresh the issue. I am looking for a set of springs that are just a little shorter than stock so I can use adjustable sleeves to be as close to stock as possible and still be able to lower it a little.

Rear Tires a bit too big for current coil over springs.

Now I am confused. How will coil overs blow the intake manifold? And what would that have to do with my problem?

Rear Tires a bit too big for current coil over springs.

Okay anyone got an idea for a coil over that starts at stock height and can go as low as 3" drop?

Rear Tires a bit too big for current coil over springs.

Actually what I would like is .50 to .75 lower than stock and the option to go lower in the future since I may try a trade for smaller rims in the future, but I need an immediate and cheap fix. Which was why I put that link to see if those would do about that

Rear Tires a bit too big for current coil over springs.

Can't afford to do that. Like I said, I paid for new tires. I don't have the money to spend on new rims and then new tires for those new rims. The cheapest route is bigger springs than the lowering spring that are on this car. I don't know how low they lower but they are 8 inches long. I just...

Rear Tires a bit too big for current coil over springs.

So I bought a 1995 Acura Integra GSR 4dr and it has 17 inch rims. Great right? No. I had to replace the rear tires just to get the car home. I ended up getting 205/50/17 tires. I later had to replace the shocks as they were toasted. Everything is almost great. The problem I have right now is the...
