just got my b20 p8r :D bought the whole engine with no tranny for $800....my buddy had a P8R with LS tranny with basic bolt ons and he beat 350z and rsx type s.... i know these b20s are special compared to the others but i been doing some research and they dont get too specific with the P8R...

my gauge cluster,center console,light dimmer and P,R,N,D,D3,2,1 on guage cluster dont light up anymore... i checked all fuses and none are blown i even replaced the once i thought were old but no luck... wierd thing is when i have headlights/tail lights off i see my P,R,N,D in gauge cluster...

well my buddys gsr motor was laying around for 1 year and a half and i was wondering if it was safe to drop it in and crank it up??(changing oil first) or is there any steps i gotta do before?? is the assembly lube still good on the crankshaft and camshafts?? or is relubing neccesary??
