The most dramatic improvement between pic 1 and 2 is the drop, so perhaps you should be considering slamming that thing, and then worrying about the details like colour.

195/50/15 will be a slightly lower profile tire and allow you to have a lower stance, but the tires will cost a bit more and you'll sacrifice a smidge of ride comfort.

When I take off while idling at 1100 RPM, I'm off the clutch at no more than 1400-1500. Just practice smoothing out your quicker clutch releases. You may be using too much gas as well. It doesn't take much. Our cars have just about enough torque to take off on flat ground without any gas added.

What makes them JDM?

In Japan, there was a trim model of CRX that received a motor stamped with "ZC" The motor is basically a D16 with dual overhead cams. A single overhead cam motor was also stamped with "ZC" in Japan, which is almost identical to the USDM D16.

So cool. I saw a video a while ago that was similar but the cars were done up even better. Incredible attention to detail. Probably a similar amount of hours that some people put into real car builds.

There IS such a thing as being low, stiff AND comfortable, but you pay for it. Some of the really expensive coilovers out there are dampening adjustable and can be adjusted for a pretty smooth ride.

You could always go LS/VTEC, do it right with the proper ad-ons and you could pull off 200WHP. A guy in my city has an EK with a 252whp B20/VTEC motor with ITBS.
