:thumbs up i did this swap to my 91 da9 my b18a1 gave up the ass, so i upgraded to a 97 b18b1 and used my stock intake mani. dizzy. fuel rail w/injectors and my cable tranny and now my da9 is runnin like a champ.. :thumbs up

i did this swap to my da.. the way it worked i kept it obd 0 and used the b18a mani, dizzy, and tb.. mine runs perfect.. unless u want to go obd 1 then u would take a different route..

i recently swapped a 97 b18b into my 91 da its been about 2 months, the motor has roughly about 100k on it and i just noticed that i might be burning some oil reason why is cause theres some balck suit on my rear bumper... could this be my rings or what could cause this also just had a valve job...

had a similar problem about 4-5 months ago my light came on thought i needed oil so i added and drove half a block and came on again and added more...but gettin to the point i spun a rod bearing and then i was fu*%ed i was about 60 miles from home and it happened on the freeway...:cussing::smackself

i had the same problem with my passenger seatbelt i just took it to a acura dealer and they replaced without any hassle seatbelts are a lifetime warranty for as long as you own the car.....

i kept it obd0 i swaped everything from my b18a1 it just started doing it out of nowhere...

i didnt do anything to the tranny.. i had an alignment problem with the clutch at first but that got taken care of just noticed that my rpms dont go past 4500 and the needle on the tach was kind of jumpy and not stable like it should be as the rpms get higher from a dead stop....:what:

i just swaped my b1b8a1 out for a b18b1 and was running good but now all of a sudden it wont go past 4500 rpms.. what causes this? how can i fix this problem?:what:

wasup fellas just finished my b18b1 swap in my da9 last night and its running pretty good needs a lil tune up but im happy its finally done! wasn't easy but it wasn't too hard it was a challenge that i couldn't give up thanks to all those who helped me out with advise if it wasn't for club...

so i gotta use the base plate that bolts up to the block from my a1 and use the mount off a b1.. so im basically mixing and matching the mounts to make it work.. :thumbs up

im working on my b18b1 swap intp my da.. so i dropped the block in last night and the driver side motor mount wont line up with the hole for the bolt, im using my stock b18a1 mounts should i be using the mount for the 97 b18b can someone clue me in on this before i bust my knuckles again tryin...

i did not use the alignment tool :smackself so what im gonna do is pull it out again and use the tool and hope that it works.. it didnt give me problems bolting it up though but im gonna try it agian... thanks ill let u know how it goes...

its barely bolted up i haven't connected anything yet no starter no fuel rail nothin.. i dropped it in last night and i tried to turn the motor by hand with a wrench to the crank bolt to make sure things were movin and they're not.. u should be able to turn the motor by hand not tryin to start...

no thats basicly what im tryin to do by hand before i finish slappin it together its up on stands and half assembled as we speek... for some reason it doesn't move at all....
