OK! So I heard whenever a car backfires, it's the ignition. So! I changed the spark plugs, wires, dizzy cap and rotor.. Still backfires.. Could it be a weak/dying igition coil or igniter? Anything else I should check?

So i've been hearing mixed reviews of the AEM coil on plug kit vs having a Dizzy with good wires and plugs. Some prefer COP while others prefer the MSD cap and wires.. What are y'all's take on those? I'm looking for better ignition, and open to suggestions please.
