you won't be in VTEC at all unless you plan on running 100+mph to work everyday...

just trying to save you time and money. I had a V-AFC with my CR-VTEC setup and it ran like complete junk. I got wise and got Hondata. really, I don't see any mods that warrant any form of engine management. if you have/get nitrous, I'd go with Hondata or something of that nature.

untunable chips are almost as bad as V-AFCs...

if you want more torque, I'd find someone to make a custom header or go with an smsp header. longer runners on a header = more torque.

so, you're trying to get a lot of people to spend a lot of money on something that won't give you any more power than you already have...

or a caddy, lincoln, etc...

I don't have any ideas. if you do get it loose, I'd question the overall strength of that lock screw. I never did like the idea of a locking screw. lock perch > lock screw
