    Do you care to elaborate? Let me rephrase it, your tc and tranny arent weaker per se...but the tranny is faced with higher stress levels than it was designed.

    Still sounds like ignition problem. I'd tend to lean towards a bad coil and or ignitor. Swap with know good ones and see if it repeats. If the distributor is getting power, but the plugs arent, probelm lies between the 2. I've never once seen an ecu go out...with the exception of either water...

    First thing to clear up, you don't beef up you torque converter. If anything, it's weaker. What they do is essentially re machine it and shave some of the weight, along with changing a few things effecting the stall speed. This allows the tranny to engage faster thus shaving about 1/2sec off...

    Yes... Theres a hundred small items he'll need, or should buy. Must items off top of my head would be: -oil return line -fitting for oilpan after he has it taped Depending on injectors he gets he'll need clips and probably a resitor box if he goes with DSM 440's which --most budget builds...

    Different scenarios. He said that the ecu wasnt messed with leading me to believe that he has same motor-just a new one vs. someone putting a different size motor which would require a new ecu and wiring. If your not getting enough air, you have one of three things wrong. Blockage somewhere...

    Did the distributor you currently have installed come with motor, or did you swap that off your old one? Could be something simple like the ignitor or coil going out. Ignitor they can test at autozone. If it was a new dist (new as came with new motor), try swapping that with old one.

    2 things to keep in mind-you'll need ot port match your tb, and replace cams with oem or ones designed for boost of you'll probably lose power (won't get full effect of sc).

    Valve adjustment is just commen maintenance, like getting oil changed, tranny fluid exchange, timing belt, etc... Most people just change their oil and neglect everything else.

    People overlook this way too much. Not sure what the factory recommends, but I'm sure there are Integras out there that have well over 100k miles that have never had this done.

About a month ago they were offering a package deal on either a 68mm or 70mm tb with their pro-series IM and they even put the disclaimer in there...

    Well on an ls you'd be looking at only around 160whp-180 at best...that and finding one for sale is about as easy as finding a Mugen 1st gen integra body kit.
