What Kind of Fuel injectors For my ls-vtec?

Its still stock. Like I said this is a daily, power is not my main goal. I won't be reving it very high, especially on stock internals.

Spark plugs and wires, which ones?

Those e3 diamond fire plugs don't perform any battery than NGK Ir plugs. The e3 or even those Bosch 4 prong plugs just last longer and are harder to foul, and as long as your not running rich as hell then that doesnt matter. Current flow (electricity) chooses the path of least resistance. If a...

What Kind of Fuel injectors For my ls-vtec?

I've got a completely rebuilt B18a1 bottom end with new stock components, mated with a remachined B18c1 head with new stock valves. I've built this motor for my DA which will strictly be a daily driver (reliability is my main goal) hence the stock internalls but has a number of bolt ons such as...

    Computer and distributor???

As for the distributor, you can use ur B18a1/b1 dissy on the vtec head (if it works properly, and is OBD1). Just cut off the third leg of the dissy (it won't fit on the head otherwise) because there is only 2 bolt holes on the head for a B18C/B16 dissy which only uses 2 bolts to hold the dissy...

Need help trying to make my car faster ...

Just search this forum on all the topics you want to know about. Theres much to learn here. And yes BrokenTalon is right, Google will be your best friend. Just stay away from cheap knock off parts, especially on ebay. honda-tech.com is also a great forum site to get answers.

    B18C1 rebuild

Make sure the machine shop u send ur motor balance your rotating assembly (especially if you upgrade your fly wheel with new pressure plate, crank pulley). Chamfer the cylinders along with re decking block and head, and Mic check all clearances. GSR heads have very small domes compared to most...

    should I ?

Cheap ebay intakes dont have CARB approval most of the time (hence why its cheap). Seeing you live in Cali I would play it safe and get a CARB legal intake with a CARB serial number. If authorities catch your honda with a cheap non-CARB approved intake on it they might impound it or worse. I'm...

    header choice

Well first you need to know what your shooting for. 4-2-1 header designs are good for mid range power/ torque, while 4-1 headers are ideal for high end RPM power. 4-2-1 headers have a better ground clearance, making it more ideal for daily driving. 2 piece 4-2-1 headers roughly weigh 1-2lbs...

Its just a waste of money.

Pillar gauges install help needed please

Thank you, my point exactly. Maybe the only gauges you should look into is an oil pressure, oil or engine temp gauge, and a boost, and A/F ratio gauge if your boosting.

why do people turbo ls engines?

Yeah, if you get your ls-vtec professionally tuned, you shouldn't have to mess with it.
  15. evilminion88

    Should I wrap my Headers!

Sure it keeps engine bay temps cooler, but it does that by keeping the heat inside the header pipes and not letting it escape into the atmosphere. So instead of the headers expanding due to the extreme high temperatures (metal expands in high temps), it will swell inward, causing the pipes to...

    Ls vtec help

Don't forget to get a good tune on it after you get it running, very important. A GSR water pump and timing belt, a fresh new valve train won't hurt if you've got the extra coin, and ARP head studs.

why do people turbo ls engines?

Well that guy was smokin something to say B16 internals+cams in a B18a1. Like said earlier, ls-vtec just adds complications when boosting. Plus, LS motors are easier to boost cus there is no vtec so it is easier to tune, its more straight forward.

Pillar gauges install help needed please

Just get a liquid filled fuel pressure gauge and necessary fittings to mount it on top of your fuel filter, or if you have an after market fuel rail that has a port to put in a gauge next to the regulator. Its a inexpensive, effective way to do the same thing without the hassle of BS gauge...

    b18c swap questions???

I'm gonna assume B18c1 right? Well depending on the year of your DA Teg will determine if you need to convert to OBD1 first of all. But it sounds like you just want to swap in a B18c1 just for v-tec right? Seeing your keeping it auto, why not just go ls-vtec? It'll save you the hassle of taking...
