When you hook up the battery and alarm gets power, you have to disable it because it engages when it first gets power. Try clicking your button to unlock everything before starting your car. As a precaution, check all fuse to see if any are blown.
The wake up time is what would kill me. I don't mind the long drive. It makes me appreciate the car more compared to my 91 Si (which I just sold) and my FJ cruiser. I figure I am about 3k away from finishing the resto-mod of my GS-R but I am also trying to buy a DC2 off someone so the money is...
F the zoo. I lived here for over 13 years and have only been to the zoo twice. I also noticed what time the meet up is. Sorry but I sleep in on Saturdays til at least 10 if I can. I won't be able to make it on time and it looks like it might rain this weekend.
It was worth the drive in the rain to finally see the cars in person and meet you guys. Maybe I will show up in a different car next time instead of my daily. It was the oldest car there and only 2nd gen.
Madnessknight or Theskygun... I will be driving north from Mira Mesa. I can meet either of you up before we cruise. Not sure yet if I will be in my integra or my friend's S2k. If I am driving, you can ride w/me if you want.
looking at your cam gear pics... were the allen sprockets tightened before you put them on? Your intake cam gears look all the way advanced. Were your exhaust gears the same way? Maybe your sprockets weren't tightened and your belt kept tugging away until it finally gave out.
Yes. The vc does not interfere w/the spark plug tubes at all. You can replace the plugs w/valve cover on or off. Just make sure you get the ones specified for your engine. Replace any tube seal/grommets also since you're doing the vc gasket.
Remove the vc out of the car completely and paint in...
