I wouldn't go back to the stock exhaust because you can get a nice sounding aftermarket one and keep the power. I would check for leaks, but more than likely you have a cheap muffler and just need to get a new one.

The parts would cost more than a car with a 5spd already in it. My advice: Sell the car you have and buy another.

Removing it is a plus but this is the wrong way to do it. You need to take the whole pump out and mate the lines to prevent more issues.

There shouldn't be any play in the belt. If you adjust FOR some play, you will be replacing alot of belts. If the pump is still working, flush the fluid and stop worrying about it.

You actually don't have to drain all the antifreeze but it won't save much time. You just have to have it below the level the thermostat is at.

The oxygen sensor can't cause the engine temperature problem. You probably need a thermostat.

This is a common problem with people that don't know how to drive a stick. If you are going less than 30mph and not giving it gas, it will buck. You are in the wrong gear. I stay in second if I'm still rolling and I don't shift into third until about 3k rpms ~40mph.

I wouldn't spend 100 bucks unless you have something specific that has to be torqued. Since you didn't mention it, I'm assuming that's not the case and you can go without it until you come to something that has to be torqued to spec I.E. head bolts.
